Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using eclipseClick ("the Software"), you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

Free tier

The Free tier of eclipseClick is provided at no cost for an indefinite period. We reserve the right to modify the features included in the Free tier, but we will not retroactively remove access to features you were already using.

Pro license

eclipseClick Pro is a one-time purchase that grants you a perpetual license to use the Pro features. Your license may be activated on up to 3 machines simultaneously.

The license requires periodic validation (every 30 days) via LemonSqueezy's activation API. The Software works fully offline between validation periods.

Refund requests are handled through LemonSqueezy in accordance with their refund policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

Use at your own risk

Eclipse photography involves expensive equipment in challenging conditions. You are solely responsible for the safety of your equipment and the results of your photography. eclipseClick is a tool to assist your workflow — it does not guarantee successful captures or prevent equipment damage.

Always test your setup thoroughly before eclipse day using the simulation and dry-run modes provided.

Limitation of liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED CAPTURES, EQUIPMENT DAMAGE, OR DATA LOSS.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
